2012-04-21, The Royals got both nmuebr 3 Melville and nmuebr 4 Hosmer in this draft. Interesting that the 1B they took could be a 94 mph LHP, and the P they took could be a 3B. Zack Greinke was a great SS whn they took him as a P, and to this day he's frustrated that he doesn't get to hit. Hosmer had Lasikeye surgery this summer and Melville was fantastic at A ball.
